Three exceptional properties on noble terroirs
For their three properties, the Pairault Family has been able to rely on technical tools to produce wines as good as the neighbouring classified vintages. Insatiable perfectionists, they are in constant search of innovative improvements to optimise the quality of the wines as well as their accessibility. This is clearly demonstrated by the recent work carried out on the harvest reception area at Château Corconnac and the architectural enhancements to Château Teynac. This gem has been restored by channelling light from the wine cellar with the tasting room, where raw materials, such as wood and steel, evoke the maritime world, a nod to the family’s passion for sailing.
With a precise sense style, everything was done in each property to feel good. Whether for working, visiting or tasting wines, the style mirrors the character of Fabienne, Philippe and Éléonore: straightforward, accessible and hedonistic. There is no chasing the latest fashion trends. What matters most is to offer the promise of the wines in a way that is faithful to the characteristics of their appellations. It is about guaranteeing the commitment to provide pleasure at reasonable cost, whatever the vintage. The work is carried out by the technical owner of the three properties, under the guidance of oenologist Eric Boissenot.
Château Teynac
“A Saint Julien unlike any other. One of the rare unclassified vintages that has grown is size with age, an exceptional feat in Saint-Julien.”
Spread over 12.5 hectares, the vineyard has expanded since its acquisition with the help of four periods of expansion, including plots of renowned and classified Saint Julien vintages. The Teynac vineyard is split into parcels and requires great effort maintaining the vines. The excellence of the different terroirs – or soil – allows us to make very precise wines using hadmade vinification processes. Tasting Teynac means getting as close as possible to the Saint Julien appellation. The wines are characterised by density, complexity and a distinct elegance. “Eléonore”, the second wine pays homage to the Pairault family by focusing on youth and freshness.

Château Corconnac
“Cru bourgeois par excellence”
On the garden side, no one doubts, this is a Bourgeois. On the cellar and office side, the world of wood transports us and leaves us dreaming, a stone’s throw from the forest – a bit “bohemian” perhaps? Produced in the Haut-Médoc appellation, this Cru bourgeois is located on 8.5 hectares, the majority being merlot. Its pleasure-price balance has created customers from all over the world.

Château Les Ormes
“Saint-Julien for everyone”
On only 1.5 hectares, Les Ormes is a small parcel within the appellation. Instead of making a niche wine, the Pairault family wanted to offer a Saint-Julien that could be enjoyed immediately. The wisdom of Les Ormes rhymes with the youth of its tannins, to the delight of lovers of Saint-Julien.
